RISE Assessment: Understanding the Mechanisms of Risky Behaviors & Key Personal Strengths

Intro

Risk Inventory and Strengths Evaluation (RISE) measures risky behaviors in young people and identifies key strengths that can help them compensate for those risks. The earlier these risky behaviors are detected, the better the chances of helping a child overcome the adversity she or he faces. Assessment with RISE provides critical information that can help improve adaptation, as youths age into adulthood, especially if they learn to deal with these behaviors early.

A RISE assessment can help children increase their resilience and decrease their vulnerability to environmental triggers, making them more adaptable and helping them understand how to function going forward.
